A tornado ripped through Mullica Hill, New Jersey, on September 1, destroying several homes, uprooting trees, and downing power lines.

The National Weather Service’s preliminary damage report classified the tornado as an EF-3 “with
estimated peak winds up to 150 mph tornado.”

This footage shot by drone pilot Brett Tiagwad on September 2 offers a glimpse of the devastation inflicted on the area.

“Flying at this location legitimately gave me chills,” Tiagwad wrote on Instagram. “Never in a million years would I have thought a Tornado would touch down in NJ. Sending our thoughts and prayers to all the families affected by this crazy storm.” Credit: Brett Tiagwad via Storyful
