drone certificationGOB Issues Warning to Drone Operators – Love FM

October 16, 2021by helo-10

Drone owners are tonight being cautioned by the Department of Civil Aviation that operating an aerial vehicle is illegal without the department’s approval. The warning comes on the heels of a business idea floating in the media by a business named, Vistro. Vistro’s idea is to begin doing home deliveries using a drone. As innovative as it may be, Director of Civil Aviation, Nigel Carter explained that the public’s safety must be taken into account.

According to Carter there is a five-step certification process that must be supervised by the Department of Civil Aviation. Among the five steps is the proper training of persons who will be operating the drones. Additional information can be had at the department’s website at www.civilaviation.gov.bz///
