UAS training program could cultivate local drone industry

The Tioga Economic Development Corporation is on the verge of achieving a goal years in the making: implementation of a local training program for general aviation and unmanned aerial systems.

The program is currently accepting applications from individuals interested in becoming pilots, especially drone pilots, and will begin the 130-hour training program shortly after the Nov. 15 application deadline.
